Under our "Point of View" we want to provide our thoughts on a regular basis concerning musical situations that exist today. We will cover topics related to the person, instrument, and music. We will give the Anatowind musical teaching process point of view on how individuals or organizations can update their musical endeavors. We would be interested in your response.

I was at McDonalds a week ago, and a gentleman in his late 50s saw my marketing book and said, “You have a lot of homework.” - It opened a conversation with him and he said that he had tried trumpet when he was younger and at the end of the conversation he added “I guess it wasn’t meant for me.”
Moving forward to today, I was talking to one of the McDonalds workers who was on break, he was a Junior at Beloit Memorial Highschool who formerly played trumpet as well. I asked him why he wasn't playing anymore and he said, “I guess it wasn’t meant for me.”
The irony of them being separated by more than a generation and yet both had musical experience and both had the exact same comment on it.
How many people out there in this world have had music presented to them in a subjective way, and not as an actual reflection of their musical talent.
How many people have suffered in music because of a subjective approach. Someone making a comment about their talent, and the person not having any way to double check and see whether these comments are correct. There is no other source to check.
If the clinic exists for some reason, it would be to help people get an objective view of their music talent so as they could see if music really is for them.
The funny thing is, you could go back and meet me a generation ago and I would have made the same comment on the clinic then as today.
Three people seperated by 70 years, all making the same statement.

The Trademark renewal confirmation from the United States Patent and Trademark office. First registered in 1959. The clinic has been updating the music world since 1959 on the proper role of music physiology in music performance.
Clinic update January 4th, 2021.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. You will be receiving an update on the clinic process of the person – instrument – music, as related to clinic programming.
Some of you may have received the below information, as this is the clinic objectives for the next 13 years..
Over
100 years, 100 years. The Anatowind℠ Music Clinic teaching process is within 13 years of reaching this tremendous milestone. The clinic is in the process of renewing its registration with the Patent and Trademark Office for the fourth time.
The teaching process concept was born during the depths of the Great Depression, continuing with several decades of research, culminating with its qualifications, and finally the implementation.
During this past year, we have learned that the person element in music will always be the most important. The clinic is proud that this process of “person – instrument – music” has been the focus of its development since its conception.
The next 13 years will be the further implementation of the clinic process, locally, nationally and globally, through written materials and technology. This process of technology started with the Affiliate Agreement reached with the Peterson Strobe Company, coordinated with the clinic teaching process to show a musician visually their tone, the most personal element of their musical development.
Everyone has been receiving information about the clinic recently, and this will be continuing for persons or organizations interested in updating their musical concepts.
The clinic wishes everyone a Happy New Year.
Thank you,
James Simmons | Clinic Director
The new music room at Hackett School in Beloit, Wisconsin was dedicated to the Joseph Simmons Family on May 30th, 2014, for its contribution to music education.
The following story from 1962 demonstrates the early beginnings of the clinic teaching process. Joseph and Dorothea Simmons decided that they would leave a legacy more than a career. As the clinic enters its 63rd year, mission accomplished.

One such example of our clinic purpose is the updated use of a music strobe that is used throughout the world. This deals with the wind instrumental and their tone, the most personal aspect of their development. I've enclosed a link here to share this information with you.

I have also attached a link to more information about the Anatowind Music Clinic and the use of the clinic process in today's educational environment.

When you have had time to look over this information I would enjoy following up with you about this and its relationship to the development of a person in music. Following is a quote from the preface of the doctoral dissertation completed and published on the Clinic Teaching Process through the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
"It has helped the author to find, through her own physiology that aesthetic tone that matched her God-given aesthetic idea."
We offer tours of our clinic and personal demonstrations.
Look forward to hearing from you.

8/31/2020 Just a sample below of how the person has always been put first in promotion.
Each of us learns most efficiently through a specific sensory mode. By teaching the concept using several different modes, the teacher is increasing his students' chances of comprehension. Anatowind is attempting to place the instruction of music on a scientific level, thereby making it more objective than subjective. Since each individual will approach music differently, it is important that physiological concepts be taught first in the curriculum.
